Driving UX/UI Innovation for New Business Growth
In 2014, TIMON, a leading social commerce platform under eBay, was actively expanding its business. As part of this growth, I focused on mobile app design and new business initiatives, helping to shape the platform’s expansion strategy.
Challenges
& Contributions—
Innovative Design for Business Growth: As part of a team launching and testing new business ventures, I played a key role in designing and implementing market-driven UX solutions.
Optimised Mobile UX,UI: Designed scalable and consistent mobile UX/UI experiences across various device environments. I aligned design solutions with system guidelines, improving both user experience and business performance.
Multi-Project UX design: Developed UX strategies across multiple projects, focusing on consistency, scalability, and user demand, while driving business objectives forward.
New business—
At the time, Timon had a diverse range of categories, but the company was preparing to launch a specialised sub-brand focused on curated international fashion selections for women.
From the initial testing phase to the official launch, I led the design of UI, seamlessly integrating global styling, fashion magazine aesthetics, and trend-driven design into the mobile shopping experience.
As part of the Android and iOS design teams, I worked on optimising the UX for a smoother shopping experience. By incorporating intuitive visuals and a user-friendly interface, I contributed to enhancing app usability.
I also closely collaborated with developers for each platform, ensuring seamless implementation and a cohesive experience across devices.
Mobile App—
Admin page—
I designed the Admin Page to help Timon’s partner sellers efficiently manage their deals. The interface was structured to allow users to easily view key insights and analyse sales data at a glance, improving usability and operational efficiency.
