Hi there, I’m Jinsil Jeong (Call me Jin), a UX/UI designer with 15 years of experience, and it’s great to connect with you.
Throughout my career in both Korea and Australia, I’ve focused on more than just technical skills—I strive to understand the essence of a service and create designs that deliver real value. I’ve been fortunate to work with a range of startups, helping shape ideas from '0 to 1,' turning concepts into meaningful products, and delivering successful outcomes.
In today’s fast-evolving UX landscape, I’ve learned that successful design isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about strong collaboration with the team and making thoughtful, timely decisions that lead to continuous improvement.
For me, the why and purpose behind a design have always been more important than the design itself.
Rather than just executing projects, I’ve actively engaged from start to finish, ensuring that the design team’s goals and outputs align closely with the company’s vision and direction. I believe in working closely with cross-functional teams to solve key challenges, relying not just on intuition but on solid collaboration to keep everything in sync.
Most importantly, I focus on user- and data-driven UX design to tackle complex, ambiguous problems and propose actionable solutions. As a leader, I’m passionate about driving initiatives that create real, tangible value.
While AI will undoubtedly play an increasing role in enhancing usability, I believe the human touch—creativity in design and a deep understanding of users' genuine needs—remains essential and irreplaceable.
I’m always striving to ask the right questions and think deeply about what truly matters for both the service and the people using it. My goal is to go beyond functionality and create authentic, meaningful products that add value.
